We are recruiting: we are hiring a pressman in Lee County, Virginia. You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases The role involves: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
