Cnc production machinist — Lamar County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Lamar County, Alabama. You will work at a busy machine shop. You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls You will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; write and edit G-code programs at the control; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear.
