Single needle operator — Madison County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a single needle operator in Madison County, Georgia. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
