Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Dimmit County, Texas. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Overtime paid at a premium rate.
