Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. Day to day you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
