Kitchen porter — Cambria County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Cambria County, Pennsylvania. You will work in a hospital canteen. The role involves load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
