Vacancy available: we are hiring a nursery worker in Stone County, Arkansas. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance On the job you will handle: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
