Join our team: foundry worker (Georgia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry worker in Crisp County, Georgia. The job is on the moulding line. On a typical shift you will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
