You should have: • Able to read single-line and wiring diagrams • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds On the job you will handle: • Replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings • Measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter • Test insulation resistance with a megger • Dress and terminate wiring inside control panels • Crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands Rotating shifts.
