Argon welder — Mecklenburg County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The job is on a structural steel site. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work The role involves clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
