Lathe operator — Wood County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe operator in Wood County, Texas. You will be based in a textile mill. Ideal candidate: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery Day to day you will carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature.
