Concrete pump mate — Walker County

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Walker County, Georgia. The role involves: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Meals and transport allowance provided.
