Ideal candidate: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Day-to-day duties: • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
