Shuttering carpenter • Wilson County, Tennessee

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Wilson County, Tennessee. The job is on a bridge and flyover project. On the job you will handle: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured What we are looking for: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level 2+ years on the tools preferred.
