Reinforcement fitter — Calhoun County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Calhoun County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
