Ceramic tiler — Putnam County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Putnam County, New York. You will work on a commercial fit-out project. You will grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
