EHS coordinator — Mecklenburg County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills The role involves audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site.
