Wheel loader operator — Breathitt County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Breathitt County, Kentucky. The role involves grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines. What we are looking for: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings 6+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $27 per hour plus benefits.
