Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Marshall County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Day-to-day duties: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
