Restoration bricklayer — Vermillion County

Now hiring: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Vermillion County, Indiana. The role involves building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
