Your main tasks: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions Ideal candidate: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Own basic hand tools Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
