Foundry worker • Beaver County, Utah

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry worker in Beaver County, Utah. On a typical shift you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
