CNC mill setter-operator — Crockett County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Crockett County, Texas. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
