CNC mill setter-operator — Kern County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Kern County, California. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Day-to-day duties: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
