Power press operator — Berkeley County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power press operator in Berkeley County, South Carolina. You will work at a white goods manufacturing plant. Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On the job you will handle: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components Six days a week, one day off.
