Vacancy available: construction helper (Edo)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a construction helper in Akoko-Edo, Edo. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Your main tasks: • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days Requirements: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
