Now hiring: we are hiring an auto painter in Talladega County, Alabama. You will be based at a busy body shop. Requirements: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Able to read and match factory paint codes • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing Day-to-day duties: • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour 2+ years on the tools preferred.
