CNC programmer-operator — Brighton and Hove

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Brighton and Hove, England. You will work in a toolroom. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T The role involves: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £2,150 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
