Blocklayer — Williams County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a blocklayer in Williams County, Ohio. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. On the job you will handle: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
