Cnc lathe setter — Hampshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Hampshire, England. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. The role involves: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 5+ years on the tools preferred.
