Now hiring: we are hiring an access scaffolder in Aroostook County, Maine. The job is on a bridge maintenance job. Requirements: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment Day to day you will erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage.
