Rigger — Pittsylvania County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigger in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Day-to-day duties: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit Six days a week, one day off.
