We are recruiting: we are hiring a single needle operator in Doniphan County, Kansas. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory You will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
