Join our team: we are hiring a groundsman in Leslie County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe What we are looking for: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Full-time with occasional weekends. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
