Great opportunity: we are hiring a tile mason in Pulaski County, Illinois. The job is in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter On the job you will handle: • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims Full-time with occasional weekends.
