Brickwork mason — Childress County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Childress County, Texas. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding The role involves: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder Full-time, day shift.
