Brickwork mason — Etowah County

Join our team: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Etowah County, Alabama. Your main tasks: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Six days a week, one day off.
