Now hiring: excavator operator (Connecticut)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an excavator operator in Greater Bridgeport Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work at a road and highway construction project. On a typical shift you will grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds. You should have: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
