Shakeout operator — Saint Johns County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Saint Johns County, Florida. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Basic grinding and fettling skills You will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
