Auto painter — Conejos County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an auto painter in Conejos County, Colorado. The job is at a busy body shop. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE The role involves: • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
