Vacancy available: we are hiring a hand presser in Dent County, Missouri. You will work in a busy laundry. Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases On the job you will handle: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing Part-time with flexible hours.
