Bricklayer — Boone County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Boone County, Iowa. The job is on a new-build development. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one On the job you will handle: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel 1+ years on the tools preferred.
