Lathe operator — Florence County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe operator in Florence County, South Carolina. You will be based in a CNC machine shop. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges On the job you will handle: • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine Overtime paid at a premium rate.
