Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges The role involves: • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper 3+ years on the tools preferred.
