Fabricator-welder — Humboldt County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Humboldt County, Nevada. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • ITI in welder trade or equivalent The role involves: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
