Steel fixing chargehand — Matazu

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Matazu, Katsina State. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. On the job you will handle: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules ₦490,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
