Fusing press operator — Hunterdon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. You will be based in a garment export house. Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Your main tasks: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Give each garment a final press before packing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
