Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling The role involves tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
