Precision welder — Damban

Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Damban, Bauchi State. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run.
