Join our team: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Clay County, Illinois. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory On a typical shift you will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality.
